The QAV-S 2 is a 5-inch freestyle airframe that is ultra-durable and designed for optimal performance. With premium Lumenier carbon fiber featuring finished and chamfered edges, along with 7075 colored aluminum standoffs, this frame not only looks sleek but is built to withstand the rigors of FPV flying.

The QAV-S 2 introduces several groundbreaking innovations. The arm locking system features a hinge with a press nut that secures the arms, allowing for easy maintenance with just one screw. Additionally, the split bottom plate design accommodates a micro camera while optimizing space for components. The isolated 20x20 and 30x30 stack mounting in the center ensures that your electronics stack remains intact without altering the frame structure.

X-Lock Mechanism

The QAV-S 2 features a new lateral X-Lock arm system that enhances rigidity and ease of use. This all-aluminum arm locking system provides two-axis clamping, mechanically isolating it from the main plates and flight controller stack. The arms can be folded with just one screw, making transportation a breeze for FPV pilots.

Aluminum FPV Camera Plates

The innovative FPV camera mounting solution offers excellent protection and support for a variety of cameras. The unique interlocking system minimizes hardware while reinforcing the front end, ensuring a lightweight yet sturdy setup.

Injection Molded GoPro Mount

The QAV-S 2 utilizes a durable injection molded GoPro mount that attaches with a single screw, compatible with the same mount pattern used by other Lumenier frames.

Backward-Compatible Mounting Patterns

For FPV pilots who wish to use printed GoPro and antenna mounts, the QAV-S 2 maintains the same mounting pattern and standoff placement as previous models. All mounts from earlier QAV-S and Bardwell Special Edition frames fit without modification.

O3 Compatible Mounts

The rear plate features 25.5 M1.6 mount holes, allowing for direct mounting of the O3 air unit. This frame can also accommodate Vista/Walksnail/Analog systems in a rear-mounting orientation, while HDZero works in a center-mounting orientation with FC or ESC in the rear.
