A CLASS ON ITS OWN
Team BlackSheep has redefined the portable remote control with the TBS Tango 2. Now we're back with one of the most popular requests: a compact full-size remote! The TBS Mambo follows in the footsteps, but focuses on all of the things the Tango 2 tries not to have: a larger screen, traditional form factor with switches and potentiometers, JR module bay, replaceable batteries and trim buttons!

But do not fear: we haven't made a cookie-cutter remote! With the built-in antenna (external antenna available as optional add-on), the 2-position and momentary gamepad buttons, and TBS Tracer built-in, we've accomplished a few "firsts" that put this radio into a class on its own!

TRACER INSIDE
The first radio with TBS Tracer built in. And it fits your existing TBS Crossfire module through the JR bay! TBS Tracer is the world's lowest latency radio link, and builds upon the rock-solid reputation of the TBS Crossfire code base. With the continued development and expansion of the TBS ecosystem, pilots will remain on the bleeding edge of capabilities paired with the ease of use and overall robustness that TBS products are known for.

Huge upgrade to QX7

I was looking for an update to my QX7 since it had slightly too long sticks for me (wasnt able to properly hit the corners). This has nice shorter sticks making it a joy to fly. The shorter sticks and hall gimbals do make it feel twitchy at first, but the spring tension helps and you quickly adapt. Not going back, this will be my daily driver.

Specially good if you are running tracer since the internal module has good range (no issues in small bandos) and you can toss this in your bag without worrying about the antenna being bent afterwards. 18650 batteries need to be the not protected ones, which you need separate. Follow the plus & minus side instructions that you can see on the PCB on the back, dis regard the tiny + & - you can see in the plastic.

TBS Mambo - upgrade problems

I ordered this radio and when I receive it I connected it to my PC with Agent X and started to upgrade the radio firmware, and the problems started. As I started to upgrade the FreedomTX firmware the upgrede stoped and after that I never got it to work again. Tried in bootloader mode with Agent X and Agent M and nothing. Created a ticket in TBS and I´m waiting for and answer from them. I have other TBS produtcs and this is my first problem upgrading. I searched online and saw that there ara many people with the same problem.
