High Gain + Omni-Directional

While high-gain antennas are not new, many options like patch, helical, and cross-hair antennas are extremely directional, limiting their effectiveness to the direction they are pointed. The Double AXII 2 antenna, however, is omni-directional, providing 360-degree coverage. Whether you fly in front, behind, or to the sides, you will experience consistent reception. No matter where you point, you will enjoy excellent signal quality all around!

Best on Receiving or Transmitting?

The Lumenier Double AXII 2 antenna is versatile enough to work for both receiving and transmitting. However, due to its radiation pattern, it is best suited as a receiving antenna in most scenarios. The higher gain offers extended range in a "doughnut" style radiation pattern, although it does have some nulls directly above/below the antenna and in small areas around 50 degrees.

When used as a receiving antenna in a vertical orientation, the Double AXII 2 provides excellent signal coverage in a 32-degree field of view. You can also mount it on the transmitter of your aircraft, but be cautious during flight maneuvers, as tilting or banking may lead to signal loss in the null areas. This antenna is ideal for FPV pilots seeking to push the limits of their long-range missions!

Super Tough Design

Antennas endure significant wear and tear, especially when mounted on a quad. The AXII 2 features a robust housing made from new injected molded polycarbonate, which is ultra-sonically welded for enhanced durability. The 120mm long semi-rigid RG402 cable allows for over 90 degrees of freedom, while the SMA connection is reinforced with a metal collar crimped to the base for added support.

Note: When installing, secure the antenna via the SMA connector; do not twist the cap.

This antenna also works seamlessly with DJI digital FPV goggles! Just ensure you purchase RP-SMA to SMA adapters for proper mounting to the RP-SMA connection on the goggles.
