Installation Methods

The filter supports two installation methods. To install the filter, align it with the lens position and clip it into the frame horizontally or vertically. To remove it, grip the lens mount with your thumb and pull it out.

Horizontal installation of the UV filter is more suitable for shooting ground or scenery as it effectively reduces reflections and scattering. Vertical installation is best for shooting reflective surfaces such as water or glass, as it better reduces reflections and prevents them from interfering with the shot.
