The Lumenier QAV-RXL 2 is back and better than ever! Following the success of the QAV-R 2 in 2018, Lumenier has taken the XL version to new heights. Available in both 8" and 10" versions, the QAV-RXL 2 is designed for pilots who want to go big. This model features the same sleek, clear-coat carbon fiber as the QAV-R 2, but with several key improvements beyond just longer arms.

One of the standout features of the QAV-RXL 2 is the extended main body, providing extra space for accessories and electronics. The frame offers flexible mounting options with 30.5x30.5mm and 20x20mm mounting holes in both the middle and rear. The larger frame requires tougher materials, and Lumenier delivers with 6mm thick carbon fiber arms, a 2.5mm thick bottom plate, and a 2mm X-Brace, resulting in 10.5mm of reinforced carbon at key stress points.

Durability and Design

Both versions of the QAV-RXL 2 are designed for top-mounting the LiPo battery, complete with a silicone non-slip battery pad to prevent shifting during flights or crashes. Additionally, socket cap washers protect the bottom screw heads, ensuring the screws remain intact and usable.

With a spacing of 28mm between the top and bottom plates, this quadcopter is optimized for full-size FPV cameras. The QAV-RXL 2 also incorporates a squashed-X configuration, reducing the chance of props showing in your FPV view.
